Option 1: car park for hotel guests in Tatranská Polianka

Hotel guests may leave their cars in the guest car park in Tatranská Polianka where we will picky you up and transport to the hotel by car or a snowmobile. The parking area is unattended. The use of the parking area is charged according to the applicable pricelist of the parking area operator.

(It is necessary to contact the hotel reception about 1 hour before arriving in Tatranská Polianka - to agree on a meeting time)

How to get to the guest car park

The car park is located some 100 m uphill from the main road:

1. If arriving from Starý Smokovec turn right from the main road, if arriving from Vyšné Hágy (Štrbské Pleso) turn left.
2. At the Y-shaped junction – turn-off at the signpost –  to the right
3. Pass the tennis courts (on your right)
4. Continue towards the guest car park closed by a boom barrier.

Option 2: parking in front of the hotel

If the weather conditions are good, we offer our guests a possibility to use parking places right in front of the hotel. Since Sliezsky dom is built in the zone with the highest level of protection in the Tatra National Park (TANAP), the car parking capacities in front of the hotel are limited; a parking permit must always be confirmed by the reception desk in advance. The price of parking is EUR 25 per car and night. The parking permit is valid for one entry and one exit. Guests who have a confirmed parking place near the hotel must notify the hotel’s reception desk before they enter the access road.

They say there is no bad weather, only badly dressed hikers; nevertheless, if you decide to do something else when the weather outside is miserable, we have several tips for you. For example, you may try our wellness centre, including a Finnish and steam sauna, a jacuzzi, and a relaxation room with an outstanding panoramic view. Our restaurant offers gastronomic specialties by top Slovak chefs. Various parlour games are available at the reception desk, too.
